First Aid

Essential oils can be used to treat minor First Aid incidents. Use your oils when camping, hiking, or traveling. Send them with your family when they go on outings.

Wounds

Thyme (diluted with FCO), Lavender, Frankincense, Copaiba, Tea Tree, Helichrysum, Protective Blend, Cedarwood or Corrective Ointment
-Apply to the affected area, bandage with gauze to keep clean. Re-apply oils when changing the bandage.

Blisters

Lavender, Tea Tree, Copaiba, or Frankincense
-Use moleskin to protect blisters. Apply oils topically as needed.

Anti-Bacterial

Tea Tree, Copaiba, Frankincense, Oregano, Thyme, Clove, Cinnamon
-Use 1 drop of any of the following topically, making sure to dilute as needed.

Burns

Lavender, Tea Tree, Anti-Aging Blend, Roman Chamomile, or Peppermint
-For minor first degree burns, submerse the injured area in cool water. Then apply one or more oils topically as often as every 15 minutes for relief.

Bones

Lavender, Tea Tree, Roman Chamomile, Peppermint, Wintergreen, Birch, Siberian Fir, or Marjoram
-Apply oils topically to bone bruise, fracture or break. Dilute with FCO
as needed.

Bruises

Helichrysum, Geranium, Lavender, Soothing, or Anti-Aging Blend
-Apply topically to the bruised area. Dilute as needed.

Headache

Tension Blend, Peppermint, Frankincense, Helichrysum, Lavender, or Soothing Blend
-Apply to temples or the back of the neck for headaches or migraines. Dilute as necessary.

Strain

Marjoram, Lemongrass, Soothing Blend, Massaging Blend, Frankincense, Blue Tansy
-Apply topically to the affected area. Dilute as necessary, particularly if pores are open due to strenuous activity.

Cuts

Tea Tree, Copaiba, Lavender, Helichrysum, or Frankincense
-Apply to support skin regeneration and quick healing.
Helichrysum
-Apply to help stop bleeding and for pain relief.

Shock

Joyful Blend, Peppermint, Spearmint, Wild Orange, Respiratory Blend, Eucalyptus, Cardamom, or Bergamot
-Apply essential oils behind the neck, on the temples or add a drop
into hands to inhale.

Heat Stroke

Peppermint, Spearmint or Lavender
-Apply to temples or the back of the neck when experiencing heat stroke or heat exhaustion. Add 2-4 drops peppermint to water and drink.
